Light frosts settle in the low ground toward Lake Macdonald on still winter mornings, so the heating capacity of the unit at low ambient is worth reading off the specification sheet rather than assumed.

Cooroy's Maple Street precinct and heritage-listed homes fall under Noosa Council's heritage overlay. Facade-visible outdoor units may need character-fit screening, so confirm this before the installer commits to a mounting position. A timber batten screen painted to match the house is the usual answer, and it needs to leave the clearances in the installation manual so the coil can still breathe on a 33 degree afternoon.
